Around these days, tech blogs and websites has started to discuss about the release of a new Microsoft OS called Windows Blue.
Now, we’ll discuss in detail about it. Windows Blue is a codename of Windows 8.1 and can be considered as a service pack for Windows 8.
Recently, Microsoft officially announced that Windows Blue will be called Windows 8.1 and it will be a free update to Windows 8. A public preview of Windows 8.1 will be released on June 26 and the final RTM will be released by the end of this year.
Windows 8.1 will be a free update to existing Windows 8 users. The preview build will be free to the public, so we can go thru all the new features and decise if we buy Windows Blue or not.
Windows 8.1 will come with many new features such as new Start Screen customizations, improved animations, new metro apps like Alarm, Calculator etc. Windows 8.1 will come with many bug fixes for Windows 8 and will feature less RAM Usage.
Rumors says that this new update comes with a Start Button and many other fixes which dose not seen in 8.
